  • Turks rock!

  • Ha ha another hilarious week of The Young Turks. Glenn Beck's brain snap was the funniest thing I've heard in a long time. He should go into comedy.

  • big fat liar, mac fatty fat lies all day

  • 2:55 is so fucking funny

  • 4 years if undergrad. 4 years of med school. 1 year internet. 3-4 years general surgery, 2 years specialization and fellowship if they decide.

16 years give or take... Not 30 that was a exaggeration.

  • And again you missed the point. We have experts because the field pays well. When the Government owns things THEY don't pay well. Thats why you won't see a cadiothoracic or vascular surgeon in Canada. Its just not worth spending thirty years in school to not get compensated for that work. Once that is gone here we wont have experts.

  • You missed the point. the point is that the Government will have to regulate what people eat in order to subsidized and pay for the public option.

  • I could go online and pull up horror stories about your country too. Premiums go up because health care is expensive. how much has the cost of health care risen in the last ten years? Thats an important question that hasn't been answered. And that 114% is NOTHING NOTHING to what I will be paying in taxes when the Government start subsidizing the public option.

  • no. we "bring money" to you cause you have the best experts in the field. However ima argue that your nitpicking...for me the importance of the life of a rich person is not > than the imp of a poor person...hence if your system gets treatment for one rich person at the cost of poor people(keeping it simple obv) then i am against that way of doing things.

  • secondly the gov will not insure poor people, the gov will make a system where poor people(your obv discriminating btw but ima go along for simplicity sake) have to get insured..and thats where the pub opt gets in. if we only get them insured the insurance comp will boost the prices like theres no tomorow - then your paying more thats bad....but thats why there a public option thats more efficient, doesnt do advertising, and doesnt want profits....hopefully thats enough to compete with privates.

  • if you really had an issue with mcdees, chose a personal insurance company that asks how many times a week you eat there to get insured.

but thats besides the point : your dont and will not have a single payer, you will never have to pay for those mcdee lunchers...if you find your insurance does and you dont like it change insurance. again theres only like 3 % of the pop that will go on the public option...

  • your satisfied that your premiums went up 114% in the last ten years? or that everymonth theres like 4 thousand people dying cuz of their bad coverage(go see grayson for this one...im doing my best ot quote him)...are you satisfied that you have bankruptcy because of your healthcare system? how many bnkrptcu do they have in france?........ 0 . your satisfied that someone gets refused coverage cuz of acnee?(women got cancer and insurance told her she had precancerous tumors, docs called it acne
