If can walk 36 blocks at midnight with Occupy Wall Street, then so can you.

92-year-old folk legend Pete Seeger (seen waving cane at 50-second mark) marches 36 blocks with Occupy Wall Street from a performance at Symphony Space on Broadway and 95th Street in the Upper West Side of Manhattan down to Broadway and 59th Street for a sing-a-long at Columbus Circle.

This footage was shot shortly after midnight as the protesters neared Columbus Circle.

PS ..... Anti union police thugs almost killed my father in the 1930s for trying to organize Street Car Conductors in Los Angeles, so don't lecture me on how that can't happen in America, because it did then and it seems it still does.

I'm shocked the way the 2012 Police Departments have fallen in line wiht the Anti Occupy Movement corporate/political class. It seems they have gone back to their "Pig", "Blue Meany" 1960s mentality in many respects. I guess I am naive to think things really changed all that much. As an anti- war demonstrator, this 61 year old American has seen the police at their worst, and it has disheartened me to see them revisit the past. They take their marching orders from Corporate America.

This is what happens when an entire generation of people aged 20 - 40 work hard to get a degree and better themselves only to find out all they did was sell their existence for the next 20 years and the only jobs that exist are part time wal-mart ones.. While some banker wills thousands upon thousands of dollars a day out of the aether.
