I adjusted the lyrics for this Bob Dylan song a little. This way it is sung from the perspective of the person that is left behind. Made more sense for me at the time.
Hope you like it.

I aint gonna sit around wonderin' why babe,
you should know that by now
I aint gonna sit around wonderin' why babe,
it will never do somehow
when the rooster crows at the break of dawn
I'll look out my window and find you gone
I'm the reason you're traveling on
but I won't think twice, it's allright

Aint no use in turning on my light babe,
the light you've never known
Aint no use in turning on your light babe,
you're on the dark side of the road
still I wish there was something I could do or say
to try and make you change your mind and stay
but we already did to much talking anyway
so I won't think twice, it's allright

And there aint no use in calling out your name girl
like I've never done before
And there aint no use in calling out your name girl
you can't hear me anymore
You're sitting and wondering, walking down the road
you once loved a man, but you couldn't stand the lies he told
You gave me your heart, but I wanted your soul
so I won't think twice, no it's allright

---

So long, honey babe, where you're bound, you wouldn't tell
you said 'goodbye is to good a word babe',
all you left me was fare well
Now I know I treated you unkind,
I could've done much better, but now I know that you don't mind
I just kind of wasted your precious little time
so I won't think twice, it's allright

  • blew me away

  • @Rainman270 thanks man

  • Good work! I don't know any of the technical jargon to critique your guitar stuff, but it definitely didn't distract the singing and ent smoothly, so thumbs up there.

    Vocals and lyrics were awesome.

"You once loved a man, but you couldn't stand the lies he told"... that's pretty genius. Profound. Makes so much sense! My favourite line.

  • Ha, thanks! I don't know most of the jargon either ;)

that line simply dropped by and seemed to fit in rather well... thanks again

  • This is incredible! You are truly gifted, the guitarwork is amazing. What guitar is that?

  • well thanks a lot.

The guitar I play is an Alhambra W1 my first guitar and still my favorite, to be honest.
