For the last 5 years, Heineken has found a way to celebrate the UEFA Champions League competition. This year it did just that, by building a replica of the Santiago Bernabéu stadium in George Enescu Square, Bucharest. Heineken Star Stadium consists of 25 modules that required 40 000 Heineken cans to be used, representing ½ the capacity of the Santiago Bernabéu stadium. The cans are fixed on a semi-spherical matrix of 8 m x 6 m, with a 3m height. The Heineken Star Stadium was built in 3 weeks and it required 2 days to assemble it.
