Aristo Craft Live Steam Mikado tries out it's new safety pop off valve, now on top where they should be, not exiting down by the front drivers. Seemed to help the Bangham type whistle work better also. Good cool day for steam plumes.

  • Summerlands Chuffer, only about $35. Easy install.

  • You can get a Mikado made by Aster, it uses alcohol, I think. TO convert this you would have to make a new boiler, be cheaper to buy the Aster!

  • I think Larry charges about $135. Easy install. You can see it on my web site.

  • Steve, I live just 1/2 mile from UP's mainline of 3 tracks here in central Nebraska. Over 100 trains or so a day go by. I hardly notice them, except in videos!

  • Thanks Chris, I had fun.

  • What chuff enhancer do you use?

  • Could these be converted to burn alcohol instead of butane?

  • @gunjeep444 Central Nebraska is the place to be for sheer volume of trains. I used to drive that way once a month, now I work to much to get out there.

  • Nice! How much does it cost?

  • Looks and sounds great again, Jerry
