pulled 855 as I lost a 45 lb plate from one side. Almost finished the pull lopsided but lost more plates which threw me off balance not to mention being dangerous!

  • excellent pull. two things stand out. first, how did you not get kicked out of a "fitness center" for even trying to pull that much, and second what do you do to work your grip to be able to have the reserve to be able to deal with the weight shifting in your hands like that. excellent effort, very impressive.

  • The gym loves that I train there and catually put up the squat rack and platform just for me and a few power lifting training partners. As far as grip, I used straps. It would have been very difficult to hold on to once I lost the 45 lb plate if I didn't use the straps! You can see how if forced my whole body to shift over!

  • Derek Poundstone you are my biggest inspiration for working out :D best of luck at future WSM, it's only a matter of time until you take the 1st prize.

  • @Audi0milk yeah in a commercial gym if you do 400+ you're like a god lol.

  • @kellyk850 he also doesn't seek attention on youtube and comment andy bolton's videos going hey I'm near this guys weight and weigh less than him, and honestly if you pull that weight in a commercial gym, I doubt people aren't impressed. They probably just don't tell you face to face. So quit whining and go get to that 427.5 : - )

  • you cant lift for beeeeeans.

  • alright this guys twice my size so if i do the math i should be able to do 427.5, im at 405 now so im almost as strong as derek pound for pound, to bad no ones impressed by that

  • Phenomenal, props.

  • Great recovery.

  • You need to get bigger bars made. Well done!

  • I think that's the highest you can go on those bars
