As for all the Brts and Canadian's complaining about the video being about just Amercians......it hard to identifie units in the video anyways, but I've fought with both Canadian's and Brits in Afghanistan. I respect those who shed their blood alongside me on the battle field fighting for something greater then any political meaning or agenda. The person next to me watching my back as I watch his.

@Toddinfantry Interesting comment...and one that I agree with completely as I have a problem with "revisionists" and how they cherry pick their facts. It is interesting, with the fall of the iron curtain and the release of Enigma decripts how many WW2 battles must be seen in a new light. For example, when the Canadians/Poles were slow to close the Falaise gap and the insinuations made by Monty, Patton, Bradly, etc. .

@cf80to01 True, but more importantly, they get "facts" from those who are trying to revise the history. It will be a battle for a long time to flush this kind of crap out. History happens one way with many observers that remember differently and so it is interpreted differently then. It is the job of historians and military authors to combine the research and give us a fairly good record of events. That and actual unit records make a complete picture of events that must be treated with care.

@Toddinfantry You've got that right! YT would be a great place for people with an interest in, and some knowledge of, military history to have interesting discussions. The problem is the vast majority of people who post seem to have gotten their "facts" from late night tv.
