The Book Place - Credits (2001)

This was a kids show that aired around 2000. It encouraged kids to read, or something. I don't remember too much from this show, except for one Major thing. The Book Worm.

This demon acid-clone of Bert Newton was a worm that lived in a book store and liked books. One time, Prime aired a programme change slide that had a distorted photo of the Worm on it. I was on the other side of the room and it froze me where I stood. Not the best thing to see when you're 5, you know. Must of been a pretty small budget to make a puppet like that.

Anyway, here's the closing segment and Credits of an episode from 2001. And what very expensive credits they are!

My children are watching some ABC kids show and I hear a voice which I instantly recognised as the book worm. Kinda sad that I remember : )
