Very good...but how do you connect a technics 1210 turntable to a vsx1021...and where does the earth cable connect too?

@soapboxdaz You'll need to connect a phono preamp to the turntable, because the receiver doesn't have a dedicated phono input. Something like part number 245-876 would work. YouTube won't allow links in comments, so visit parts-express[dot]com and search for the part number. You connect the turntable to the input, the ground wire to the grounding screw, and then the output to the receiver.
