Umm, maybe because it wasn't her fault. She had been programmed to do that without her knowledge. She even tried to kill herself before that as she felt like she was going to do something bad, but her hidden protocols kept from succeeding. Boomer is more innocent than any other Cylon for atrocities against humans, but always gets the shaft.

I love the irony...
Boomer gets all this shit thrown her way when she does a thing that benefits the fleet/the 4, while Caprica (remember - the cylon that prepared the way for the GENOCIDE OF BILLIONS) is totally let off the hook.....???
