World Games - C64 - Barrel Jumping

I used to never think it was possible, but I found some way to jump 17 barrels...

can any one explain to me the controls on this game. i just bought it the other day and the only game i was able to complete was the barrel jumping. it didnt come with a manual and i have no idea how to complete the other games like weight lifting for example. any advice would be much appreciated

well, a lot of the games are just simple joystick movements. I can't really go over them much (a couple games still give me trouble and I HAVE the manual somewhere), but as for weight lifting, you need to swap between up and down with good timing. Heavier weights mean you need to have better timing. depending on which kind of lift you pick, the way you do it is different.

I loved that game, you could do 20 with the right joystick, "competition pro" was the best of course....

I remember setting it to 100 barrels and laughing so hard when I inevitably failed. I love the C64.
