pops mohamed and ravi ("NEVER AGAIN")

Pops Mohamed, one of the leading South African world/jazz musicians performs in a duet with Ravi, one of the UK's leading world/fusion musicians. Both musicians, neither of which are from West Africa, have developed their own style of kora (west african harp) and have each been playing for over twenty years.

Pops, as well as his own CD releases and work with leading musicians, is also well known for his playing of various styles of Mbira and mouth bow of the kalahari bushmen

RAVI ( "a walking testament to the success of multicuturalism" Songlines) has developed his own kora tunings, as well as a unique stereo/electric kora and a double necked acoustic kora. He also performs with acoustic guitar, berimbao, flutes, djembe and throat singing

As a duet, they create a extremely varied and full show which includes audience participation. Both are also experienced workshop leaders
