Last time, we took a look at some Canon fast 50's to compare the relative performances. This time we take a look at some 50mm lenses available for the Nikon: Nikkor 50mm f/1.4 G vs Nikkor 50mm f/1.8 D vs Sigma 50mm f/1.4 EX.

  • That girl was farting! :O

  • @jakemadz The D700 has an internal focus motor for lenses with no autofocus motor like the 50/1.8, the D3000 does not. :) The only Nikons I know have those are the pros, the D300/s, and the D7000. Pretty sure the D90 has one as well.

  • What model is the bag you're using?

  • Yeah just lay em on a bench with no caps on. Look after your gear, FFS!

  • I've got that Sigma 50mm for my D7000, great lens, a little big yes, but great.

  • @Ogvista Don't worry, it's a D700. It can take the drop no problem.:D

  • SIGMA 50mm 1.4 & Canon 50mm 1.4 are THE lenses!

  • @jakemadz the AF needs to be driven by an AF motor included in the camera body it self. I have a similar issue with my equipment.

  • just one question because i have nikkor 50mm 1.8d and i saw in this video that it has autofocus..im using Nikon D3000 but it was only in manual focus is there any settings?

  • nice PINKON camera hehe
