  • It's called the Rev...I believe it is a Milt Jackson composition and was recorded by the pianist Mike Ledonne on his trio record "Common Ground". Does any one know ifd this video is commercially available? They sound astonoshlingly good and it is well recorded.

  • I have noticed that too. I am a vibraphonist and I use the Milt Jackson model mallet (short shaft with a large mallet head). I have found that when using these mallets it feels more natural to have kind of a timpani grip on them.
