@TheOfcom Like feminists are any better! Get real - look at both and then make your own opinion. But don't ignore what they have to say because you think it's all one-sided.

@theOfcom, you were expecting impartiality?? Most noncustodial parents never get any! If you are worried about "equal time" then you are a lot late, it would take regular programs 24 hours a day in support of noncustodial parents(ncp's) for the next 20 years for ncp to get their "equal time". We have heard enough bad mouthing of fathers , now its time for some justice.

This documentary is very biased and leads to the question: How much of the content and information of this documentary is actually truthfully represented?

Some chance with the BBC censoring the debate.
SO why do Dr Lynne Harne (bristol) and Mavis Maclean(oxford)
persist with saying just because only 10% end in court that the system is working fine. They are funded by taxpayers they should be doing impartial analyse.
But there is vested interest by all sort of organisations that are funded by the tax payer therefore they are supporting the status Quo.
listen to Black stone cherries things my father said, says it all

Women in the USA today look at men as a temporary inconvenience for assets and income. Child support, family court attorneys and alimony are causing hostage children. WheresDADDY org

Excellent work Simon! Have shared on facebook.
This should be shown to a wider audience on terrestrial TV.
On another note, the ‘cine-film style’ imagery portraying a boy and father in “John’s Story” can be found to be fake/reconstructed, when closely examined. This leads to the issue of miss-representation of the truth. Any reconstructed scene, photography or sound design within a documentary should clearly state that is it a reconstruction, whether it be through the use of a voice over or caption.

This four-part documentary has no sense of impartiality in the slightest. The views and opinions expressed by individuals are one-sided, NOT giving the opposition (“Sociopathic Parents” and “Brainwashed Children”) a chance to respond to the allegations made by the “Alienated Parents” featured in the film. As the narrator quotes “there’s two sides to every story” - Yet this documentary only explores the views and opinions of one party/opposition.
