Manchester City Council introduced a traffic calming scheme in the City centre several months back which allows only buses, emergency & services vehicles through at certain times of the day, despite the fact that large illuminated warning signs are visible for all to see it doesn't stop people trying to beat the system, a good way to try out your airbags !It's claiming on average three vehicles per week...........
Lesson learned: windshield wipers turn on in a collision.

That actually is a little bit dodgy. If you didn't know about it and was just driving after a bus or something you'd have no way of seeing them come up in time.

I wonder how bad the suspension damage was done to the white van

I love watching these kind of videos. Absolutely hilarious. Guys trying to out smart the system and getting rightly nailed in the process. I'd say these assholes tried to claim the manchester city council for the damages.

@segagenesis3 Yep, but preferably the poles would be pointy at the end, and coated with poison. I would position them right in front of the crosswalks to teach those asswipes who pull too far forward and invade the pedestrian area a lesson. Stop behind the line, or get speared. :D

Owe shit. The face in the last van breaks the windshield.

I bet it costs more in insurance claims than it saves in congestion.
