@Homehous My AK-74M is lighter than my AR-15 carbine and is more than accurate enough for its intended purpose. Anyone who has real experience with an AK knows this.

@Nitricthunder As if, your AR must be a very hard shooting short stroke piston. AK's even the arsenal throw themselves with the huge extractor and lack of a buffer tube, I own an Arsenal AK chambered in 5.45 but it still is not a soft shooter by any means and my LWRC has softer and more manageable recoil, your AK might just have that muzzle break that reduces recoil, take it off and see how it does.

@theslamminsammon I own an Arsenal sgl-31 (AK-74M clone), and it actually has noticeably less recoil than an AR-15.

@DragonoftheEastblu yes i do agree with you strongly, i might be wrong with the newer makes of the SV-98, i had felt the older style, the oldest of the old for SV-98's that would have to be the 1998 make, the oldest in circulation

@a2birdcage1 Stupid, the AK 74 you were looking at had a barrel length that was seven inches shorter, the M4. The M4 is 6.9 pounds with a fully loaded 30 round mag, the AK 74M is 7.5 pounds with no mag, do some research, or buy the dame guns. The M4 series of weapons is better then AK's when they are functioning, lighter, less recoil, more accurate, more ergonomic, everything, I have no idea where you got your info but if you own an AK74 and an M16 you would know what I am talking about.
