The early years when in fact Pembrokeshire based Carreg Las went under the name Morys ar y Clwt and was mostly a Cotswold Morris team with a few Border dances in the repertoire. Photos are from 1992 when the team was founded through to about 1994. The music was recorded on very dodgy equipment in 1993 in the very echoey village hall in Abercych. The dance is Idbury Hill from the Bledington tradition. Playing are Chi Allen on border pipes, Ed Stobbs on concertina, Charles Birch on fiddle, myself on whistle and Phoebe Cooper on tambourine.
