I made this using supplies from Home Depot. I misspoke during the video - this is 3/4" PVC with 3/16" holes in it, sorry!

  • I've never owned an Eheim, so I personally couldn't say.

    I clean my 405 every two weeks. It has quite a bit of sludge in it by then, but is still going strong. Mostly it's the sponges/floss that need to be cleared of junk at that point, but I always rinse the bio-max in old tank water too.
