  • what was hauling the wagon? and jeez, thing u had a big enough tractor on the blower lol

  • A 2350 John Deere was pulling the wagon. You need about a horsepower per foot on the blower, so the 4240 (110 HP) on the 80 foot silo isn't ridiculous.

  • you can never have too big of a tractor on the blower

  • You wouldn't think it, but its amazing how much running a blower works a tractor. Seen plenty tractors start puking there guts out running them, always keep a spare tractor for the blower.

  • we got a 70 foot silo 2 year old gehl blower but we put a 4455 on it run it wide open, works good

  • My cousins in Wisconsin, pull their new case 600 blower with a JD 4030 (110 HP) they fill 2- 90 footers and 1-60 footer. Works Good.

  • we run a 4020 onthe blower of a 90 foot silo

  • nice. my uncle owns a small dairy farm, and we only run a 65 hp on the blower. we chop with a 110 horse lol
