you can never have too big of a tractor on the blower
-
You wouldn't think it, but its amazing how much running a blower works a tractor. Seen plenty tractors start puking there guts out running them, always keep a spare tractor for the blower.
-
@mistyglen 4250 not 4240
-
How much would you get for 45 acres of forage?

we got a 70 foot silo 2 year old gehl blower but we put a 4455 on it run it wide open, works good

It looked like he had Silage in the wagon.

My cousins in Wisconsin, pull their new case 600 blower with a JD 4030 (110 HP) they fill 2- 90 footers and 1-60 footer. Works Good.

nice. my uncle owns a small dairy farm, and we only run a 65 hp on the blower. we chop with a 110 horse lol

A 2350 John Deere was pulling the wagon. You need about a horsepower per foot on the blower, so the 4240 (110 HP) on the 80 foot silo isn't ridiculous.
