*************************************************************************************** This video includes an average crowd out at 2nd peak, Pleasure point in Santa Cruz, CA. Just a really fun day, with gray skies and glassy surface conditions. A handful of us trading waist to chest high waves, perfect for almost any length surfboard. I rode a 9'5" cali classic model from Source Surfboards. Nick Palandrani shaped it, and although the board weights 27.5 lbs it surfed really nice and quick in these somewhat "section-y" conditions.
For me, surfing in conditions like these are why longboarding is all about. Lots of waves, long rides, socializing in the water and surfing with friends.

@chainkiller999 Currently, the water is about 53 degrees fahrenheit up here in Santa Cruz and hits upwards of 60-62 in the summer time.
