  • Don't worry, we can tell you're a moron, you don't need to dabble on any more.

And a $1.98 straight edge is perfectly fine as long as you check to make sure it's straight. .. And yes their are ways to check for such things. You will learn these things or learn to keep your mouth shut one day.

  • another idiotic "expertvillage" guitar video.

no professional would use a $1.98 straight edge for fretwork, period.

also why are the fretboards in all these videos shown detached from the guitar ?

you level the fretboard AFTER it is glued down on the neck ffs ...

  • Dude wears the same shirt in all his videos haha. Nothing said by this man should be considered the final word on any topic on which he speaks. Lots of missing info. So many questions.......

  • very good video!

  • 1:42 lol

  • FBI guitar ? WTF ?

  • You need to use a neck Jig, otherwise your fret jobs will be time consuming and so so at best.

  • if Expertvillage is so bad, why are you watching it ?

  • @heretic30117 I use a marble threshold like you'd put in a doorway. These are precisely ground and great for verifying stuff. if the straight edge isn't flat you can glue sandpaper to it and sand the $2 straight edge nice and flat :) People need to remember that precision is important on a guitar but not to the ridiculous level that some folks try to take it. Nobody is going to feel .0001 difference in fret height :)

  • @redlinechavez Howcast by far.

  • i just wish he's say something different at the start...
