➩ This is the ghost replay of 2 runs made with the Bowser Bike / Flame Runner on track in which it's not the fastest vehicle (GBA Shy Guy Beach WR is made with Toadette + Magikruiser, DS Yoshi Falls is with Torpedo / Spear).

➨ GBA Shy Guy Beach

•Personal comment (from Alvin)• "Shy Guy Beach with Bowser Bike has always been interesting for me. Especially to know how much Magikruiser really saves in wifi. I came to the conclusion it's not so much. But you should remember that the shroomspot saves a lot of time with the Bowser Bike.

The run itself looks easy to do, but is much harder than you think. Just like with the Magikruiser, one bump can kill your run. This time, the shroomspot is the problem. One small hop getting on the island can kill your wheelie boost. There are ways to find out where you don't hop, but that's much easier to find with the Magikruiser than with the Bowser Bike. All in all a good run, although I think there's still something in it."

→ Kyoya Fujiwara (フジマサ) had 1' 24" 604 before. So, this is the best time known with the Bowser Bike / Flame Runner on rSGB.


➨ DS Yoshi Falls

•Personal comment• "The addiction all started with Yoshi Falls when I saw Omega's video. I think it all shook us awake of how far other bikes can get you, and I really wanted to take the challenge to see how far I could go with this. I soon noticed that the Bowser Bike really is different at this track. Some of you may notice the MT at teh bridge, for example. It really shows how different that "thing" is.
One of the differences people often forget is the wheelie boost: You go a bit faster in your wheelie when you set up your wheelie immediately after your turbo. This also was one of the main reasons why Moo Moo Meadows changed to the BB (corner after teh shroom). The wheelie boost is there with both Bowser Bike and Torpedo, but the advantage is much larger with the Bowser Bike, plus its MT lasts much longer.

I could get around the 1'00"4 area easily, and I slowly worked on until I got that time. Shame at the jump before the last zipper, it cost me a little bit. The rest of the run was very nice. If the Bowser Bike was the fastest vehicle I think the WR would be really close to the sub now."

I read a player saying that Omega subbed 1' 00" with the BB. Has anyone a picture or a video ?


✘ Some other Bowser Bike ghosts are coming soon, like Luigi Circuit, DS Peach Gardens. Alvin even got a Regional place (Europa) with the BB on rDH :P
