River rapids are one of my favorite rides to design. Things to remember is that they are very slow moving attractions which usually require a lot of space and a lot of attention to detail to pull off successfully. This water ride can become a key feature in any park and will most likely be the most entertaining water ride.
This video shows how to quickly build rapids, for those who don't have a good stragedy for them. I typically use a mountain type theme where the rapids cascade down the side and into a river which bends and winds through caves and other elements, and then a big drop to finish off the ride.
One major tip is whatever you do, you should at least theme the hell out of it! It's one of the rare attractions in the game that can achieve high excitement ratings with low nausea and intensity ratings. But scenery makes all the difference. Trees, statues, fountains... river rapids really allows you to plot it all out. In this video you'll notice that I build outdoor and indoor rapids, nothing is too extreme.
Another good tip is that rapids are expensive to build. An attraction like the one in the video is small and compact, but theres a lot of tedious landscaping involved and each raised and lowered land/water costs some money - and that really adds up. So make sure you save up or at least consider a major loan. River rapid's popularity is also very conditional, usually based entirely on weather. Guests won't ride them if the temperature is too cold or if its raining. They are most popular in dry and hot conditions.

this coaster thing taking my park by storm I always do it while my ;parks closed normally no body comes but its allowing guests to go when they normally dont thats if you edit to long they dont come
