absolutely staged. no security my ass.. he wouldn't perform somewhere where there was no security. even local bands that perform in pubs have 1 or 2 bouncers as security (provided by the venue) so to suggest Akon's management (people who make big money out of Akon) would allow him to perform without security is a joke. It's an even bigger joke that he would go out into the audience and headlock someone because that is assault and so many lawyers would jump at such a high profile case.

There was PLENTY of security in the crowd, but they just allowed him to drag the guy out by himself. If you notice a couple of his homies follow him when he hops off the stage, no-one would try anything against guys that big.
Staged or not, it was pretty funny.
