Why are people mourning over the Boston Bombings? 3 people were killed. WOAH. That's a lot of fucking people. Sure it's tragic, but people die everyday. Nobody mourns over Africa like they do the Boston bombings. Why? Cause its all.. Well.. According to plan. If one tragedy happens everyone loses their minds. But when kids are dying in Africa.. No one does anything drastic.

That's not entirely true. It has more to do with it being another attack on American soil. Someone has been malicious about the attack, you know? In Africa, it's starvation, wild, etc. It's less sudden. More tragic, but less sudden.

It's more that people mourn what it represents. A successful terrorist attack by jihad radicals. Sure, they were inexperienced and few deaths resulted from the attack, but what does that signify? To the more experienced, war-hardened terrorists on the eastern seaboard, it may just mean that the thought of assaulting America on its own ground is not as an impossible an idea as before.
