@mikisct Dude that is like saying that a knight for a king is a slave. the meaning to serve does not mean slavery. the samurai were the equivalent of knights in any kingdom which also means they had a social status of nobility. I am not denying they served lords and that they destroyed villages. What i am saying you are wrong about is their code of honor. You say they have none, when the truth is they do. It's called Bushido. I have researched this thoroughly. Looks like you should to.

@kaeruspawn The word Samurai means to serve , which means that a samurai was a slave to his master's wishes, they will kill whom ever their master wishes dead even a whole unarmed village, & that is why the ninja was born to counter the tyranny of the samurai nothing else at first, then thy became mercenaries later on.

you need to know deeper history on what the samurai did not what thy believed is right in their heads, cuz that is just denial & lies

@mikisct I have read history and the samurai were huge on honor. You are thinking of the ninja, who were generally the poor peasant like people and slaves. The ninja did whatever was necessary to win a battle whether it brought shame or honor. That's why the samurai employed the ninja, because the samurai knew what was necessary to win, but would not fight dishonorably.
