Using just Optimum No Rinse (no Optimum Power Clean, no dedicated wheel cleaners) to clean a pretty dirty Mercedes C280 wheel. Sorry about the background noise, that is the a/c unit for the house I was at. Not much you can do with temperatures in the 90s.

  • Before anyone starts in with "you didn't clean the barrel of the wheel" that really isn't the purpose of this demonstration. I just wanted to show how effective just ONR is on brake dust. Besides, anyone who has cleaned those Mercedes wheels knows that to really clean the barrels of that style wheel (especially as neglected as this car was) knows you really have to remove the wheel to get it perfect.

  • good video

  • Nice video, Scott. ONR is excellent on rims. It doesn't seem to strip durable tire dressings but can at least get the side-walls clean and ready for a new coat of tire shine.

  • Hey Scott, did you use 1 ounce to 2 gallons dilution? Same as you would on the paint, or is this a stronger concentration - Leadfoot

  • I looooove using ONR on wheels. Makes them all slick and shiny.
