Interesting. Do you have plans for making the jig?
-
Btw, any pointers how to make that clamp?
-
Ingenious idea !. Very sharp thinking here. Impressive and simple. Seems simple is always best

Nice. If only there was a way to do this and apply helical fletching.

Richard- the over-sized wooden fletching jig is the best part of your vid. In particular, the card you set in the nock as a means of indexing the fletching in order to get an even 120 degrees between each one. I appreciate this vid - its helped me work out a few difficulties. Thanks - Well done.
Interesting jig Are there plans? Is there a video on trimming the feathers after they are glued onto the shaft?

@jpavlvs Sorry, no plans, we sell the item hand made as part of our online catalogue, just google RICHARD HEAD LONGBOWS and you will find it. We do not have a video of the feather cutting, just use a sharp pair of scissors to carefully cut to shape.

Howdy all , Do the feathers have to be slightly offset to make the arrow spin
minerman007 9 months ago
@minerman007 Not really, arrows will spin if the feathers are set straight.
