BMW lent me this bike for 2 days and the brakes were terrible!
They felt very spongy and brake pads were poor making the abs useless.
-
Can you really squeeze it all the way without the wheels locking?
-
Cool, but I think it would take me some time to get used to the abs...wanting to slam the brakes on would make me feel like they will lock up. It's a great idea since if something did surprise me and I didn't have allot of reaction time I would probably slam on the brakes on my bike. I wish that my Dyna Fat Bob came with abs for how much it cost...but I believe they only put it on the bigger touring bikes.

@Elvaynor i don't understand how your reply is relevant to my comment. anyways, locked arms only transfers more weight to the front wheel
-
Next time do the test with a 2009 Honda Accord.
-
i prefer the honda, its much safer.

@mkrmec i think a lot of riding skills will be picked up as you go along but the instructors do provided a pretty good foundation for people to work on
-
@xkakashix12 yeah you're right. It's just funny that you get instructed otherwise in driving schools :D
-
@mkrmec ideally you wouldn't lose control in a straight line but locked arms prevents maneuverability when it's necessary and any little imperfection on the road will send you flying because locked arms prevents dampening in your body
this is a really good comparo thanks for this
