Tony Newton invented palm muting, so any bands who use it are unoriginal hacks.

Even Italian guitarists in the 19th century were playing on eight strings, so it's not like using eight strings are original either. Anybody who uses them are clearly posers.

Classical music like Beethoven's Third Symphony involves polyrhythmic measures so nobody else should use them.

Meshuggah is unoriginal trash and the world hates them.

This is what you sound like.

    3.14/10 I got slightly rustled.

WELL sir, I looked into you're other comments, and you expressed appreciation for the slipknot guitarists. I think that takes away almost all of your credibility.

I'm not as familiar with Bieber's singing style, so I grant that you could be right. How about a backstreet boy? Nsync? At any rate, it sounds like "boy band" material. Not that there's anything wrong with that I guess

Despite the band having some of the best musicianship and creative flair of any new metal band...?

Okay people need to calm their shit remember metal was built by ugly people it will die by ugly people plus yu dnt need the looks to be in a band which some people do think but why should yu judge them before even knowing them( metal will always come out on top)

You said periphery took a handful of meshuggah and some backstreet boys. There is nothing intelligent about that idea. That is a gross over-dramatization that basically embodies how butthurt you are about a band being inspired by another band.
