The animation on the mega tree is a product called Galaxia that is brand new to the market. It is not something being projected onto the tree. It is 1200 indivdual light bulbs with a computer chip in each of them. Check them out at www.galaxialighting.com. Also check out santasymphonies.com for the Santa DVD projection we used.
I had to "sew" them together with small gage wire into to a large 17x14 traingle with a rounded bottom. This was then positioned over a tee-pee of 6 poles around a flag poole. This only covered the front 2/3 of the tree, but there is no sence to have the animation on the side facing the house as it was cost prohibative.
Wow! How did you ever get the snowflakes to dance on your tree? I have never seen anything like this before. Congratulations. Can't wait to see what you do for 2009.
How did you do the light strings that connect to the tree? The Galaxia tree is awesome, are the connecting strings also Galaxia?
