  • if the series continued they probably would have shown us the actual Earth/Romulan war which would have been epic.

there was also a lot of other stuff they could have used to tie with the other series

  • @GeneralGrin i totally agree, season 4 was the best and they did try to tie things in for the 'future' series. They could've done more with the Romulan stuff.

  • Best re-cut ever

  • @GeneralGrin With you there. I was so disappointed to hear their plans for season 5, after it was cancelled. I didn't have a problem with season 1-3, but 4 was definitely bringing the show into it's own. If it had continued, it would have certainly have gotten better. Events from Star Trek's history were beginning to be explained, etc...

  • How much time does it take for time to trickle through the timeline?

  • @Amar7605 Well, fair enough, but you're in a minority. It's generally agreed that the 3rd and 4th seasons were a huge improvement overall. And the show didn't have a 5th season.

  • @jimbopumbapigsticks Yes, it's true that TNG, DS9, and VOY weren't great during their first 2 seasons, but then they got better. ENT, in my opinion, never seemed to get better as a cast. The first season is the same as the 5th season and vice versa.

  • @GeneralGrin I agree that there was a lot of potential, and I was surprised that the show ended abruptly, but in my opinion the cast wasn't great. Trip and Mayweather really annoyed the hell out of me, and overall the cast didn't seem to gel. It almost seemed like even in the 5th season the cast were still trying to figure each other out and get along with one another.

  • JJ Abrahams was the man from the future?

    That explains so much.

  • @randomface54

What was the Borg doing in Star Trek Destiny's book?

I know people don't consider book as canon but to me what the point of the books then

  • @privatecaboose250 Adaptability to a situation does not make something evil. The Borg wanted to improve their species and all other species. The Daleks wanted to utterly destroy everything in the universe(s) that wasn't Dalek. The Borg were misguided and totalitarian but they never attempted genocide on that scale and the never killed for the sake of killing.
