@comedian4576 Well to each his own. If you do exhales right, they shouldn't hurt. I'll have to post a video at some point of how I do mine. It's completely effortless.

Not hating on you or anything, but I'm not a fan of inhale screams. I started that way, but exhaling is so much easier and doesn't hurt the vocal cords as much.
