1998 Mitsubishi 3000GT SL Exhaust

The exhaust consists of a 3SX Custom Downpipe, a 3sx test tube to replace catalytic converter, 3" piping from the test tube to a flowmaster 40 series muffler (single inlet dual outlet), custom 2.5" piping from the muffler to two 45 degree slash cut flowmaster tips.

When you replaced the catalytic converter with the 3sx test tube how did your car pass emissions

@ken6ny9 there are no emissions tests in the state of Virginia as of right now, which is why mine passed emissions :).

The exhausts people are putting on japanese cars seem to be taking from the idea of a sport car. We're not here to be loud and obnoxious and sound like we have a misfiring V8 (or a V10 with some of the exhausts people are making).

Lol this sounds nothing like a V8. V8 is definitely a more deep sound. I don't think I've ever heard anything sound quite as good as a V10 either. If you have ever seen a race with the old grand national cars then that is the sound I was going for. I wanted a clean sounding 6 cylinder vehicle that didn't crackle or become raspy all the way up to redline, which i feel like I have achieved.
