  • Nice mod. I had been thinking about modifying one of these for x-y control but will probably have to fight with vertical focus correction. Do you have any photos of the inside, in particular the CRT neck and associated coils?

  • hello,

    hello

i would to know what kind of cable did you use to connect the computer to the tv,

and where did you buy it,

it would be very sweet of you to answer,

  • I got one too! Bought in 2008 in nice condition to check my homebuilt TV transmitter and video circuits, since LCD TVs or any other framebuffer/digital based ones will just show blue if they don't get a singla.

  • i tried to do this with a watchman and shocked myself.

  • Radio Shack sells a pocket digital television but for a ridiculous price.

  • i have th fd-35a,its pretty cool lol

  • Cool.

In Canada, analogue TV isn't going off the air until 2011.

  • they went off the markt only couple years ago due to reg. tv going off air in feb 2009 no hd pocket tvs yet

they could be had for as cheap as my last still working one from radio shack at 90 bucks

some like casios best and sonys(they stopped making them with one that used a strap for the antenna and had a terrible picture in 00-01) check out e-bay and buy one super cheap and use it for about a year - theyre great, casios very first model (sinclair came first) worked better in the sun most dont

  • That's nice.

Did you have to do anything with the deflection yoke coils, or did you just connect the sound signal directly?

    Real D.I.Y. spirit!

  • COOL!!! Sony WATCHMAN?! ARE YOU SERIOUSLY TELLING ME THERE'S SUCH THING AS A WALKMAN-SIZED PORTABLE TV?! I thought those only existed in cartoons and in movies.
