「すみれの花咲く頃」は、宝塚歌劇団を象徴する歌。

元はフランツ・デーレ作曲のドイツ映画主題歌『ライラックの花咲く頃』（Wenn der weisse Flieder wieder blüht）。

シャンソン化されて（Lilas blancs）パリで歌われているのを耳にした白井鐵造が日本語詞をつけた。

なお正式な団歌ではない。

元のドイツ語版では鮫島有美子のアルバムほかに収録されている。

阪急百貨店の開店音楽、永楽電気株式会社によって発車メロディーとして東日本旅客鉄道（JR東日本）で使われた実績がある。
