please clarify : green = no buffer or the opposite??
-
How would you compare your buffer to the jhs buffer? I'm not sure which one to get
-
I'm assuming the green light means that the buffer is on and orange means that it's off. If so, I need a buffer!
-
When the buffer is engaged it compresses the tone ever so slightly and rolls off some (sibilant) treble
I just heard it because i listened closely! I prefer the tone with the buffer on so the changes are positive :)
Do you use transistors or opamps in this buffer? It sounds great
does it invert phase?
-
What are you recording with? Is it just the Camcorder mic or have you got a mic on your cab?

hey ya'll! just the mic, and its not even a camcorder.... its just a normal camera. i had another test done with almost 200 feet of cable (varying types too) and it was exactly the same.
this is transistor based buffering, its cheaper, so i can get it into the hands of more people :)

its a crappy camcorder mic. no mic on the cab. just showing the difference between the buffer and straight in. its literally identical
