I changed Pokémon Strategies around a bit, instead it shows different strategies used by different Pokémon and how well the moves can be used. This time I am showing Torterra, this is the first time I've ever use a Final Staged Pokémon on Pokémon Strategies, and the first Pokémon Strategies episode to be used on a different file.
My Torterra has a Brave Nature, and she has EVs in Attack and HP, and some Defense EVs, my Torterra is Female which is why I'm saying "she" instead of "he". I'll might use this Torterra one time on Wi-Fi to make a Trick Room team. Also I am using different Pokémon along with Torterra to perform different strategies with her. This Torterra has a cool moveset if you watch this video, I think it was Curse for increasing Attack and Defense, Seed Bomb and Earthquake for STAB, and Crunch for Psychic and Ghost type Pokémon. Also this is not a Wi-Fi Battle, all the Pokémon used are my Pokémon from my HeartGold game.

  • i want to put my torterra in my team but im not sure can u guys tell me something that will help me

  • @djpdr Torterra is a Pokémon with good Defenses, and it's not got the best Speed and has a good Attack Stat, and a good moveset would be Seed Bomb, Curse, Crunch and Earthquake, or you could try Stone Edge instead of Crunch if you want. Torterra works well in a Trick Room due to its poor Speed stat.

  • @Metang375 hey check it out i breeded my old torterra and looked for a jolly nature which ups my speed and lowers my sp.att which i wont use and i ev trained my torterra in speed and everything else except sp.att and my torterra is very fast

  • @djpdr Torterra might not have the best Speed stat, and a Jolly Nature is fine. Torterra can learn Rock Polish, and that could help boost Torterra's Speed to outrun faster opponents like Sceptile or Garchomp in battle.

  • can u use electivire, metagross, empoleon & togekiss

or electivire, metagross, typhlosion and torterra plzz

  • @djpdr Well I did use Torterra in this episode, and I'll might try Metagross, Togekiss, Electivire, Metagross or Empoleon one time, although I did use Elekid and Metang in my past episodes, and I use a Metagross in my Wi-Fi Matches, so I'll might do them.

  • this stragegy is good but i prefer the rock polish toterra

  • Sorry but Mothim isnt very powerful, even though its cool

  • torterra did a awesome fight.

  • @ToelleUrLaputa Combine Curse and Trick Room, and Torterra will be a great Tank and destroy opponents in the Trick Room, if it's against something like Slowbro or Dusknoir, that requires about 3 or 4 Curses for Torterra.
