That came out of Quartz Cr eh? I drive up that road a lot on my way to Fall Cr, and yeah they sure been hitting it hard up there. Bottom of that drainage is a wasteland, not until you get into the Indian Creek upper drainage ( on Forest Service land) do you get to see any nice forests. You've got to look hard to find any firs that large nowadays.....I wish they'd just be satisfied with the large firs and leave the massive ones alone so we can still find some trees for the kids to marvel at.

Outstanding logs. What good lumber they will make. I get goosebumps just looking at them. I have some pictures on my wall of logs we got years ago. Creating jobs and making something usefull for mankind.
