you cant simply imitate the way we do kirtan it is invented by prophets of sikhism... the gurbani wich we do in kirtan is based on raags.. it iis very powerfull combination of shabad and raags wich is callled kirtan . so plz dont copy it... it us used by sikhs

At min 1:17 or so Gregg Schwartz says that they "chant the name of God". What is that name that is used?

@jdfword it's called a Harmonium. Originally brought to India by the Portuguese, it has been adapted for playing while sitting on the floor and used in Classical as well as folk music in India.

I studied with Rabbi Andrew briefly two years ago and was blown away with his method. I hope I can again longer! Was a chant workshop.
