Nicko makes his homemade fries for you to make at home!

Ingredients:

4 large potatos
Pinch Salt
Pinch Pepper
Pinch Paprika
Vegetable oil to drizzle of chips
1 baking tray

    What Makes Crispy Fries?

    Answer: getting rid of some of the starch on the surface of the fries

    1) Cut Potato into fries.

    2) wash fries in hot water *Optional* Boil Water in a pot. Throw fries into the boiling Water. Goal is to cook them half way. This will give you crispier fries when you bake them or fry them.

    3) Dry them off

    4) Then cook them however you like...

    Washing the starch off is really the crucial step.

  • If your going to use a deep fryer, best method is too

    Put them in the hot oil for abut 45 second to a minute. let them drain and cool then drop them into the oil again to get crunchy and golden brown. basically frying it twice.

  • @daekru92 Dude... who stays in the kitchen for 2 hours to just make french fries. Be practical dude. French fries are just a side dish. My process will take like 35-45 minutes to do with the oven.

  • Those are not French fries. French fries are always deep-fried TWICE at a SPECIFIC temperature.
