no 3d, but a "reborn" style update would be amazing. Just retcon the alucard part and this game would fit the timeline perfectly.

@pandafuhrer Majority of it was the fact that Sonia's a woman, yes, but the #1 reason was that Trevor was supposed to be the first Belmont in history to fully defeat and destroy Dracula. If this was canon, then Trevor would not have been the first vampire hunter, and the entire timeline would be wrong. Guess we'll see what happens when the reboot to the story happens this year.

I loved this one. I couldn't beat drac in his second form, but it was really cool to have Alucard make an appearance.
I simply don't see how Koji Igarashi can call this game an "embarrassment".

they SHOULD remake this. they could just make it as a forgotten timeline in the series. then it wouldnt mess up the current timeline in castlevania

I noticed in every castlevania game it ends with a Belmont standing on a cliff and watching the castle collapse
