  • i love this video

  • @Wowraider4life Actually it's gay to call Freerice system gay. However, I also believe that Freerice is a stupid thing if it really works for feeding the hungry Africans (here you're absolutely right). I think Freerice team is making much more money for themselves.

  • Oh yeah I'm just using google as an example

  • Lol you idoits! Google doesnt just give away there searchs for free they get like a billion dollars from ads! It would be like saying " sure I'll rederict people to your website for free!"

Lol good job kids you learned something today! Why there is free stuff on the internet!

  • Who pays for the donated rice?

The rice is paid for by the sponsors whose names you see on the bottom of your screen when you enter a correct answer. These sponsors support both learning (free education for everyone) and reducing hunger (free rice for the hungry). We thank these sponsors for their generous participation at FreeRice. For information about how you or your company can sponsor FreeRice

  • Free Rice has sponsors that pay for all the rice. It really does amount to something when enough people participate. Currently, though, the donation per correct answer is 10 grains.

The website FAQ states that there are around 48 grains per gram. I think this is worth checking out. Take a look at the totals page!

  • theydcant afford those in aprts of africa my 'freind' and the weather isnt right to grow a lot of crops

  • Well, first, it is aiding the downfall of the economy for the rest of the people, just so the african 3rd world countries can be feed 1 meal in 2 weeks? Second, they have solar converters to convert the sun's rays into electricity and can use that to farm crops to eat themselves instead of being lazy bums they beg and seem to be out of ideas to get the next meal. That, my friend is why it's gay.

  • how the heck is feeding the hungry saving millions of people a year helping at at the click of a mouse gay?
