Hahaha classic Mercedes soft suspension - body roll and mild oversteer at 0:14-0:15. Yet predictable, controllable and grippy RWD setup. If only more modern cars were still like this.

You know the thing I like about the older MB is they do what they want, 1 wiper? sure, cup olders? no thanks, just thinks like that made me respect this brand back then, i hope they return to this my way or the highway attitude

@sariglenn also if you havent changed your engine mounts for a long time, do so.. i just changed mine.. and i also had a little JOLT every few seconds in idle.. that jolt was just cuz of loose engine mounts.. so wen u get new mounts, seafoam, new plugs it should be butter smooth.. sometimes i cant feel my car is on... and while ur at it if its been a while, change ur distributor cap and rotor.. no aftermarket part for that though.

@sariglenn also do a seafoam on your car

there is a hose on your intake that looks like a Y for vacum.. one end goes to your EZL ignition module.. disconnect that line, and suck up the seafoam with it.. i also use the transmission hose at the back of the intake too.. to spread the seafoam into all cylinders.. it will clean up all tha gunk from 20 years of driving.. and ur engine RPMS will seem to rise faster and the engine will idle better and smoother...

@sranjesuper Thanks a bunch. I drive my car daily to work 80 miles both ways. I notice at idle there is a flutter ( best word i could think of) coming from the motor. The idle ( rpm's) is constant but its like a flutter or pulse that comes and goes while its idling.

if you dont know already, get nology silver spark plugs, magnecore wires and nology ignition coil it will give you better performance and MPGS.. i currently get almost 600 km with 47L of gas on 60% highway driving. Better than a lot of 4 bangers today.

@sariglenn And the trade in value on my 1992 300E is $1200 in good condition. They dont hold value. Its the only point I was making. But its not necessarily a bad thing if your looking for one.

@sranjesuper i watch them religiously on ebay and other markets. The only ones I ever see go for 4k or more are the ones with around 50- 60 k miles, have been garage kept most of its life life, and have no rust or issues.. The one I paid $1500 for has higher mileage but the engine and tranny run great, the body looks like it was garage kept, and the interior was an 8/10. But now there is some sagging in the cloth. There are best offers on ebay for $2600 that have around 100k miles and look great

yes i can.. it all depends how your maintenance is.. if your leaking oil and your engine runs like shit, or you have lots of issues, you will get less money.. if its in top condition you can get 3-4 Gs for it easily... i dont care about the "book".. somebody who knos these cars will know how much their worth and will pay for it. The fact you got yours for 1500 is a steal so you should be just happy for that.
