Narrowboat trip, Scarfel with Border Terrier.

Narrowboat trip on the Lancaster canal and climb up Scafell with my daughters' border terrier Jackson Pollock (2003-2008)
Jackson was 5 years old on the 7th of May and on the evening of the 9th he was killed by a fox and is no longer with us. He was a major part of my life and words cannot express the sorrow and despair that I feel.
His spirit will live on forever and sadly he died doing what he thought he had to do ( chase foxes ). Patrick

Hi, The original music was 'Motherland' by Natalie Merchant but It was blocked by copyright .  Had to put this on from a list of random music Youtube provide. If you look at Border Terrier having a good time you will hear something more upbeat.

Dear Patrick, your videos bring memories of our border, Mad Baggins, back so vividly. Dad has been on anti-depressants ever since he held her in his arms while the vet put her to sleep after a long and painful illness. He's never recovered. Hi, Thank you for your thoughts............. Jackson was a very special dog as I am sure ' Mad Biggins' was. In a few days it will be a year since Jackson died.

I can't believe I found this... I am hoping to buy a narrowboat to live on ... and have a dog live with me on board.I have been researching everything from Border Terriers to whippets..to staffies... and I think the Border Terrier ticks all my boxes.And after seeing your video..I can see how happy and active he was aboard the boat..Sorry for your loss, he was a lovely little chap.and thanx for sharing with us...

Thank you for all of your Jackson Pollock videos. These helped me pick a border terrier puppy (Rupert) as a new pet. Most wonderful dog I've ever had. There is a certain spunk there not found in any other dog I've ever had.
