  • Finland is the Winter Wonderland number one in the world. And Kotka looks good in snow. Town is very peaceful and has 4 season; summer, autumn, winter and spring.

Nothing to complain about living here in Finland. Not much crime, no slums, standard of living is one of the highest in the world, education for kids in free of charge and has been many times chosen best in the world...

In 2010 Newsweek chose Finland as the best place to live in the world. Come to Kotka by the sea!

  • Jep, jep. Kotka on mahtimesta!

  • Kotka on mahti mesta.

  • I've been in this city in 1990.Nice town.Btw a dance bar (i don't remember the name exactly,it was something about Egypt) is still there?

  • Name of that legendary restaurant in Kotka where sailors used to drink and dance is Kairo. It´s still there at East Harbour of Kotka. But times have changed; no sailors, but they have jazz music alive at least in summeritme.
