This is the only one out of the 3 adaptations I hate. Grinch may not have been a great film, but it was good for what it was and Horton Hears a Who remains to this day my favorite film from Blue Sky Entertainment. I have great expectations for their take on The Lorax.

omg thank you!!! i HATED this movie, i still do! Compared to "How the Grinch Stole Christmas", they put the Cat in the Hat to SHAME!! my dad bought it when it came out, i only made it the credits and left. XD My dad agrees it was the biggest regret when buying a movie. The Grinch was more child appropriate than this crap~

I actually liked the movie, but probably because I was really young at the time when I watched it. This movie still remains as one of my favorites, but after listening to some of your comments, I can't help but agree how poorly this movie was adapted from the book.

Having seen this recently, I'd say the only good things are the production design (which, to me, really looks like something out of a Dr. Seuss book) and Alec Baldwin (Even in the worst movies that he's been in, Alec Baldwin still shines.).

@iamyourenemyify its a review if you what to watch it go get the movie instead of complaining of a review
You missed an inappropriate joke back there. When the cat gets out the contract, they have a certificate of him being Spade and Neutered.

@Isolder74 Good catch, though Bob Barker would probably argue that having your pet spayed or neutered is never inappropriate. ;)
