@samhanmma Tanegashima is in the shop for 1 million Drebin Points (800,000 on wednesdays and sundays. Or 500,000 during Act 4) Solar Gun is unlocked after you collect all four B&B statues and the Gekko Statue from not killing FROG soldiers in the Advent Palace in Act 1.

In case anyone is wondering what the hell is up wit the Solar Gun, Kojima made Boktai, which is a game you have to play in direct sunlight to power up in battles.
