Kaufmann showed in WERTHER that he can not only sings but also act. Well, he confirms it here. They make a very lovely couple. Their voices are superb and so evenly matched. It's the kind of operatic duet that tenors and sopranos are willing to die for.

Lo scrivo solo per suggerire una valutazione obiettiva del canto, a Kaufmann auguro tutto il bene possibile. La mezza voce così ovattata non è più lo strumento musicale del bel canto e non fa bella figura a paragone delle mezze voci femminili che mantengono le sonorità e la delicatezza di un pianissimo di violino. Poi capisco le passioni personali per il timbro particolare o altro. Ma Corelli, i suoi personaggi e la sua voce, dunque, sono vissuti invano? Per non citare tanti altri....

Difficile de ne pas craquer devant tant de grâce et de répéter encore et encore combien ce duo est merveilleusement interprété.
En salle, le 10 décembre, l'émotion était palpable. C'était "l'heure bleue", un moment magique qui reste gravé en soit.
La manière dont Marguerite dit «Adieu » dans cette scène, est adorable. Prononcé avec fraîcheur. Comme le fait une très jeune fille innocente et pleine d'espoir qu'elle est. Je la trouve très crédible. Et Jonas un vrai bonheur.
